I've been using a really hard watercolour paper - schoeleshammer 4r...challenging. I like the results I can get with it though.

Another Iris

Difficult, this one. Getting the very dark colour in Watercolour took quite a bit of layering.

Spring Iris

Brushing up on my Botanical illo skills, such as they are. This is one of our Irises, nicely challenging to draw and paint. Watercolour.

Done...I guess

Apart from actually starting a painting, the really difficult bit is knowing when it's done..usually it's more a case of: "If I do anything more to it, it'll only get worse..."
